Verdict: Does the FURminator work? Yes!! The FURminator uses patented technologies to remove the undercoat and loose hair, and reduces shedding up to 90 percent.  I’ve done a video review of the FURminator with my dog in the video below. As you’ll hear in the video, I first bought a cat sized FURminator for my cat last summer, when he started having frequent hairballs. A funny thing happened last weekend at the Canine Carnival, the benefit for Bob’s House for Dogs in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Vendors were asked to donate a prize for the raffle, so we donated a beautiful little crystal, bone-shaped dog collar charm. (Note: the charm, by Diva Dog, is 1 inch wide.)

I am not sure why, but in entering for some of the other raffle prizes, my “employee” threw a ticket in our own basket. What are the odds? She won!
